Without Warninks...
Surprisingly, perhaps, Advocaat - the historic brandy and egg liqueur - is making a comeback.
It was a family favourite growing up. We'd have it in tiny shot glasses and sip it slowly over Christmas Day, making it last as long as possible. So I'm delighted to see it appearing at bus-stops in a Christmas sweater.
The brand is working with UK bartenders to come up with new takes on the Snowball which is made up with advocaat, lemonade and lime.
We'll just be drinking it straight up. As usual. It's true - it just wouldn't be Christmas without Warninks.
